A New Beginning: My First Reflection To You

Hi, my name is Roy Jr Gavarra. You can call me Bro (Kuya) Roy. I’m 28 years old and from the islands of the Philippines.

I’ve decided to share some of my reflections here, along with how God’s Word speaks to me. I know not everyone may see it the same way I do, and that’s okay. I appreciate every comment and thought, even if it challenges me, because it helps me grow.

I want to inspire and share my faith, but I’m also someone still growing, learning to seek God through His Word with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

One verse that encourages me to start this journey is Joshua 1:8-9:

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

This reminds me that even though I am not perfect, God calls me to be strong and courageous. He promises to guide me and be with me every step of the way.

No matter what anyone thinks, I will keep sharing the Word God has given me. I may not be perfect, and some may say I don’t qualify to share Scripture, but I trust God’s guidance and want to share it with you.

Yours truly,
Bro. Roy
