Monday Testimony: God Met Me in the Middle of My Day

This morning started like many others. Before the calls, before the busyness, before the noise of the day, I paused to prepare my heart and mind. I asked God to guide me through every conversation and every moment, trusting that He would lead me wherever I needed to be.

My first dial of the day was a callback—one I intentionally chose. It felt routine, just another call to begin the workday. But my second call was completely random, and that’s where God surprised me in a beautiful way.

On the other end of the line was a fellow Christian. Instead of a typical conversation, she did something I didn’t expect—she prayed for me.

Right there on the call, she spoke blessings over my life. She asked God to strengthen me, to help me become an overcomer, and to guide me in every step I take. Her prayer reminded me that God’s ways are always greater than my own plans or expectations.

Most days in this kind of work, I hear impatient voices. Sometimes people are rude, sometimes they hang up quickly, and sometimes the conversations are discouraging. But today, God chose to start my Monday with encouragement and prayer.

It felt like a gentle reminder from Him:
“Don’t lean on your own understanding. Trust Me.”

That moment carried me through the rest of the morning.

But if I’m being honest, the whole day wasn’t perfect.

As the hours went by, I still encountered difficult calls. There were moments when frustration tried to creep in. There were conversations that didn’t go well and moments when my energy started to drop. It was one of those days where you keep going, but you can feel the weight of it.

Yet even in those moments, I kept remembering that prayer from the morning.

God had already shown me that He was present.

And throughout the day, in small and quiet ways, He kept helping me. Sometimes it was the patience to respond kindly when someone was rude. Sometimes it was the strength to keep dialing even when I felt discouraged. Sometimes it was simply the peace that reminded me I wasn’t facing the day alone.

Looking back now, I realize something important.

God didn’t promise that my whole day would be easy.

But He did show me that He would be with me through it.

That prayer at the beginning of my day wasn’t random—it was preparation. God knew what the rest of my day would look like, and He sent encouragement before the challenges even came.

What a faithful God we serve.

Today reminded me that even in the ordinary rhythm of work—calls, conversations, and routine moments—God is still moving. He can use a random phone call, a stranger’s prayer, or a small moment of encouragement to remind us that He sees us and cares about what we’re going through.

So even though my day wasn’t the best day overall, I can still say this with confidence:

God carried me through it.

And that’s enough for me to end this Monday with gratitude.

Because truly,

God is good all the time.
